Food Challenge

It's time for another Monday challenge over at Totally Stampalicious!  These weeks just go by so fast lately!  This week's challenge is to have food on your card.  I used the Dottie Desserts stamp set for this one!  This is one of my favorites from the April new releases!  The designer paper I used has strawberries on it too.

I used this week's Sketch Saturday #152 Sketch for the layout.  I had to flip the sketch to make it work with my image.

Thanks for stopping by and  checking out my card.  Hope you get to play along with our food challenge this week!  The Totally Stampalicious Design Team has put together some great samples for this challenge.  Click HERE to see them.

Keep it Simple Challenge

This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to make a Clean and Simple Card.  I thought this would be the perfect time to break out my swivel knife and cut out my image.  When I told my husband about this plan he said make sure you have the bandages ready....NICE.  Anyway I'm happy to report that I was able to cut JJ out without cutting myself.  I've seen so many awesome cards with images cut out and I've been wanting to try this for a while now.  In the end I'm very happy with how this turned out.    It took less time than my adventures with the sewing machine too.

Mark your calendars - we're having a New Release and Blog Hop at Totally Stampalicious on Thursday - April 21st!

Stop on over to the Totally Stampalicious Blog to see more great Clean and Simple inspiration from the design team!  I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card!

When I found out that today's Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Stampers was Sue (Coffeestamper) I just had to play along. The card I chose from her gallery is HERE . I love the layout she used and the sponging! Great inspiration!

I used the Best Buds stamp from Totally Stampalicious for the image and sentiment.

I'm also including this in this week's Anything Goes Challenge at Totally Stampalicious.

Congratulations on being this week's Featured Stamper Sue!!!!! A well deserved honor!!!

I'll be back later with this week's Totally Stampalicious Challenge!

Totally Stampalicious Birthday Gus

Before I get to this week's Totally Stampalicious challenge, I have an exciting announcement.....the fabulous ladies at Totally Stampalicious have invited me to be a design team member!  I am soooooo excited!!!!  We have a new guest Designer for April too - welcome Heather!

Okay, now that you know the cool news....this week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to make a Birthday Card.  I love this challenge because I never have enough birthday cards.  I decided to use the adorable Birthday GUS new release for this challenge.  You can never really have enough masculine cards can you?   I created the layout for this card without using a sketch.  That explains why it took so long.  Sketches are really nice.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card. Stop over to the Totally Stampalicious Blog to see all the great samples that that design team has created  for inspiration!  I hope you can play along with us this week!
