Triangle Star Shaped Card with JJ

It's MONDAY and that means it's time for this week's Totally Stampalicious Challenge.  This week we want you to use SHAPES - Anything but a rectangle or square shaped card!  I decided to try something new and I made this Triangle Star shaped card.  I found the step by step instructions for this card on Stamp Owl's Blog HERE.  I made the base with Chocolate Chip 12 x 12 textured paper and then again with 12 x 12 designer paper for the top layer.  I just trimed the DP paper on the score lines and then trimed again on each edge to make it smaller.

I used the Totally Stampalicious Cupcake JJ stamp set for the image and sentiments on this fun card.

I used double sided velcro to hold the card closed.  You can see the velcro on the lower left panel.  The sentiment on the inside reads Party Like a Rock Star!

Wine Not? and a Blog Award

It's time for this week's Monday Challenge at Totally Stampalicious!  The challenge is to create a card with your favorite drink.  I chose WINE.  The JJ Cook stamp set was perfect for this theme!  I guess JJ and I have something in common - we both like wine!  I stamped the pot onto Brushed Silver paper and cut it out and pieced it on the image for a 2D effect.  The color combo for this card came right out of my kitchen.  It's kind of like JJ is in my kitchen cooking while she drinks her wine.  CHEERS!!!
