Stella's Feeling Blue (and Green & Brown)

Supplies:
Paper:  Early Espresso, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Baja Breeze DP
Ink:  Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Going Grey
Accessories:  Scallop Trim Border Punch, Chocolate Chip Tafeta Ribbon, Large Circle Punch, Large Scallop Circle Punch, Color Spritzer Tool, Polka Dot Embossing Folder

This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is a color challenge - Brown, Green, & Blue!  I LOVE this color combo!!!  Since we got dumped with a foot of snow last night I was able to work from home and fit in my challenge card in place of my commute!  I'm so lucky I didn't have to drive in that mess!  So since it's very cold and snowy I felt inspired to work with Stella tonight.  I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 105 for the layout.  The best thing about this sketch was that I used SCRAPS that were laying around on my craft table.  Love when I can put my scraps to good use.  I need to remember this sketch!

Totally Stampalicious is having a New Release and Blog Hop this Thursday (Feb 24) at 9pm EST.  One lucky winner will get 4 new stamp sets!  The stamp set I used for this card is one that I won in their blog hop a few months back!  So mark your calendar and hop over to the Totally Stampalicious Blog on Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card!

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Tangerine Tango, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy
Accessories:  Large Star Punch, Small Star Punch, Mat Pack, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Stickles, Star Brads, Word Window Punch

Happy Saturday my stamping friends!  Today I'm sharing an adorable Birthday Boy card.  I NEVER have enough cards for boys!  I think this little cupcake kid is perfect for those adorable boys in my life.  My Nephews are going to just LOVE him!

This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is BLING.  I added a lot of bling (stickles) to this but still kept it appropriate for a boy.

The image is available in clear rubber from Totally Stampalicious HERE and in digital from Bugaboo HERE.
The layout is from this week's sketch challenge at SCS and the fabulous color combo is from this week's Colour Q Challenge cQc #72.  I really loved working with these colors!!!

Sympathy for Phoebe

Paper:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Shimmery White
Ink:  Basic Black
Stamps:  My Digital Studio, Thoughts & Prayers, Frames with a Flourish
Accessories:  Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Eyelet Border Punch, Floral Fusion Die, Heart Punch

This month's Stampin' Up card swap theme is a sketch.  This card is based on the sketch - unfortunately I don't have an electronic version of it to share with you but I really did enjoy working with it.  Since this is for the Stampin Up swap all supplies are SU.  I created the framed sentiment in the My Digital Studio program.  I love using MDS for swap cards because it saves a lot of time.  I sized the sentiment to fit into the flourish frame.

I also made this card in loving memory of our dog Phoebe.  We had to say goodbye to her last Saturday.  It was a very sad weekend.  Phoebe was a black and white terrier mix so the color combo is for her too!  I also think it's a perfect classic color combo for a sympathy card.  The red heart represents the spot she will always hold in my heart.

I'll be back later this weekend with this week's Totally Stampalicious challenge BLING!

Thanks for taking the time to check out my card!

Sweetie's Valentine

Supplies
Paper:  Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Stamps:  Desiree, Kid at Heart
Accessories:  Cuttlebug Heart Blocks Embossing Folder, SU Scallop Edge Punch,
Large Scallop Circle Punch, Large Circle Punch, SU Small Heart Punch

I made this card for my daughter for Valentines Day.  Ever since she was little she's referred to herself as my sweetie.

The image I used for this one is Desiree.  She is available in clear rubber stamps at Totally Stampalicious HERE and in digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps HERE.
Isn't she just adorable?

I am so happy I finally got to use my new hearts embossing folder!  I went to 4 craft stores looking for that folder and finally ordered it at JoAnn's online.  It was one of those things I just had to have...The sentiment I stamped on the inside - a little crooked so you would know it's homemade -(hee hee) is from Taylored Expressions Kid at Heart stamp set and says "You're so Sweet".

This card is for the following Challenges involving HEARTS:

Totally Stampalicious Three Hearts Challenge
Stampin' Royalty's Hearts, Hearts, and More Hearts challenge
Crazy 4 Challenges Hearts

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my Sweetie's Valentine!!!!

Hello My Friend, Hello

This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to make a card for NO REASON AT ALL!  It can't be for any occasion.  I immediately thought of my Hello...Friend sentiment from My Digital Studio.  I decided to pair it up with Totally Stampalicious Attitude Ruby.

Since this is the 100th Card Patterns Sketch I thought I should play along with them too!  Here's the sketch...

I used the color combo from this week's Colour Q Challenge #70.  When I saw this week's color inspiration I literally laughed out loud.  Not that the color combo was funny but I had used the same apron as inspiration for a Splitcoast Challenge a while back.   It was just funny to me that I recognized that apron.  It's really a pretty color combination....so I had to play along with the color challenge.  Here is the inspiration for Colour Q#70...

So all week, every time I think about this challenge I hear Neil Diamond in my head singing Hello again hello...you get the idea :)  Hopefully now I can move on to some other song!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card!
