Totally Stampalicious - Flower Challenge

Supplies:
Stamps:  Scarlette Cupcake
Paper:  Poppi Parade, Dotted Daisies (Doodlebug), Regal Rose
Ink:  Memento Black, Poppi Parade, Regal Rose, Barely Banana, E31 Copic Marker
Accessories:  Three For You Flower Punch, Small Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Small Circle Punch

Happy Monday!!!!

We have another FUN challenge this week at Totally Stampalicious!  This week's challenge is to use Flowers on your card or project.  As you can see I have quite a few flowers on my card.  The pink paper on the inside of the card is covered in flowers too.  I trimmed the edge of the card at 1/2 inch and then punched it with the scallop trim border punch to make a little space for a flower border.  I had a bit of trouble getting a good picture of this one so I ended up using a clothes pin to hold it closed for the picture.  I used the newly released Scarlette Cupcake stamp set for the image and sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card today!  Check out the Totally Stampalicious Blog for more fabulous flower inspiration!

Spring Challenge with Gus

HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!  It's been quite a week for me.....and I'm glad to be back to my normal routine.  This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to create a SPRING THEMED card.    I used this week's Freshly Made Sketch # 24 for the layout.  The image and sentiment are from the GUS Golf stamp set that was recently released at Totally Stampalicious!  I stamped GUS onto white paper and fussy cut him out using my small fiskers scissors.  I mounted him onto a light blue background to simulate the sky.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card today!  Be sure to stop by the Totally Stampalicious Blog  for more great SPRING inspiration!!!!

You're My Hero...........

Happy Monday!!!!  It's time for this week's Totally Stampalicious challenge.  This week we want you to use TEXTURE on your card or project.  Now, I may have gotten a little carried away with the texture on this - LOL.  I used my houndstooth embossing folder for the white background.  I also ran the cute little bear's hat through the embossing folder and paper pieced the hat onto the bear.  The bear was stamped onto close to cocoa paper and then colored with my close to cocoa marker.  I paper pieced his belly patch and rain drop.  I used the layout from this week's Crafts and Things sketch.

You should see all the other great projects that the Totally Stampalicious Design Team put together.  Check out the Totally Stampalicious Blog HERE.

I'm also including this in the following challenges:
Cas-ual Fridays - Paper Piecing  (hat & belly patch)
Cards & Things - Sketch Challenge
Paper Pretties - Texture Challenge

Ribbons, Ribbons, Ribbons with JJ

Happy Monday Everyone!  It's time for another Totally Stampalicious Challenge.  This week's Challenge is a Ribbon challenge.  We want you to use at least 3 DIFFERENT ribbons on your card or project!

Here's my JJ Desperate Housewife card........................

I layered the Ribbons - Black Grossgrain, Red Polka Dot Grossgrain and then used Black Sheer Ribbon for the bow.   I absolutely LOVE this sentiment!  It's very profound don't you think?  Words to live by!!!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Ribbon challenge card!  Check out the Totally Stampalicious Blog for more great Ribbon Challenge Inspiration.  I hope you get a chance to play along in our challenge this week!

Clean and Simple Valentine

This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to make a Clean and Simple card.  We want you to keep your layers to just a few.  I'm super excited for this challenge because I've been working on making more CAS cards.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Monkey Love, Whimsical Words
Paper:  Kraft, Baja Breezes, In Color Designer Paper
Ink:  Memento Black, Brown & tan Copic Markers, Black Sharpie, Poppy Parade
Accessories:  Corner Rounder Punch, Small Heart Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch

I used the adorable Monkey Love stamp set from Totally Stampalicious for the image and sentiment.    I fussy cut the cute monkey out using my little Fiskars scissors.  I could use a bit more practice on the fussy cut technique but I do think it looks better against the red background this way.

For the layout, I enlisted the help of this week's CAS-ual Friday's challenge sketch.  You can find the challenge HERE or by clicking on the sketch image below.

I decided it would be fun to decorate the inside of this card too.  Here's a look at the inside......

The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up Sale-a-Bration set.  It reads You're never more than a Thought away.

Fishing with Gus

This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to make a Masculine Card.  I love this challenge because I never have enough masculine cards.  I chose to use the newly released Gus Fishing stamp set for my card.  I decided to go with earth tones for this card.  The image is matted on hunter green cardstock.  Now there's a color that I almost NEVER use, but yet it seems appropriate for GUS.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card today!  I hope you get a chance to play along in our Masculine card challenge this week!

I'm here today with this week's Totally Stampalicious Challenge!!!  This week we want you to get started on those Valentines Cards and projects!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Monkey Love
Paper:  SU Pink Passion, PTI White, SU Poppi Parade, Sweet Cakes Lots of Love, SU Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories:  Small Heart Punch, Eyelet Border Punch, White Satin Ribbon, Crystal Effects

I used the adorable Monkey Love stamp set which is one of our new releases.  ONE LUCKY PARTICIPANT in this week's challenge will WIN our New Monkey Love Stamp Set
All you have to do is make a card or project with a Valentine theme and link your blog or on-line gallery to the Totally Stampalicious Blog Post HERE!

I love using DP with coordinating patterns on each side of the sheet.  This Sweet Cakes DP has Glittery Hearts on the front and polka dots on the back.  I used the front of the DP for the left panel and the back for the upper right corner.  I also punched out a few hearts from the polka dot side and popped them up on the left panel.  This layout was really quick and easy to put together!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Valentine card!  I hope you get a chance to play along in our Valentines challenge this week!

Blue Winter Bird Snowman Card for VSN

Happy Saturday Friends!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for one of the VSN (virtual stamp night) challenges going on at Splitcoast Stampers.  The theme of the challenge is to create a BLUE card and they want you to do it in 45 minutes or less.  I used the Winterbird Snowman stamp set from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo line for the image.  I kept the design really simple.  Isn't that DP GORGEOUS!!!  I LOVE this paper!!!  The scallop edge is the back of the blue background so it's one piece of DP.  To create the blue snowflakes I sponged white glittery snowflakes with blue ink.  I also sponged blue ink around the image to soften it up a bit.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my BLUE Winter Bird Snowman card.  Now I have to go back to the scrapbook store to see if I can get some more of that gorgeous paper!  Have a GREAT weekend!!!!

Mixing it up with Margaret

This week's challenge is super easy and FUN.  We want you to mix it up and use stamps from two different stamp sets.  I combined the image from Margaret December with the sentiment from  Scarlette Mistletoe.  Margaret is being so sassy!

I used this week's Splitcoast Challenge Sketch SC359 for the layout.  I love this sketch!  For the snowflakes I used a combination of my Sizzix Snowflake die and some metallic snowflakes.  The white background paper is covered in silver specks.  I stamped the sentiment with versamark and embossed it with silver embossing powder.  I had a hard time getting a good picture of the sentiment.  It reads - You'll Find Me Under the Mistletoe!

Check out the Totally Stampalicious Blog for more great inspiration on our Mix it Up challenge!
