This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to use your very FAVORITE Bugaboo!  It was not easy to pick just ONE favorite.  I picked Cowgirl Dottie because she is so much fun to create with. I'm a country music fan and I think in real life she and I could be friends.

I used the layout from this week's Sketch Saturday challenge SS-156 and the color combo from this week's Play Date Cafe challenge PDCC-82.  I'm also entering this in this week's Crafting for all Seasons - Anything Goes Challenge and 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge 4CCC-38 to use Brads.

Totally Stampalicious!

1st Prize - ALL FOUR New Stamp Sets!
2nd Prize - $15 Gift Certificate
3rd Prize - $5 Gift Certificate

For my first card I have used this super spunky Cowgirl Dottie stamp set.  I was inspired to use stripes and polka dots based on this week's challenge at Bugaboo.  I would not normally mix stripes and polka dots but I really like the way this came out.  I guess that's why they call it a challenge.

My second card features the new Violet Scarlette stamp set.  It is so nice to be making cards with more of a spring/summer theme.  Now that wedding season is upon us I am sure this set will come in handy!
My third card was made using our adorable new WTF GUS stamp set.  I just love this sentiment:  "After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF?"  Don't you just LOVE GUS?  I do!

This last card was made using the Daisy Scarlette stamp set.  I love this sentiment "Friends are flowers that never fade!"  I am so blessed to have some wonderful friends that I treasure and this sentiment says it perfectly!
Okay now make sure you comment here and continue the HOP for your chance to win those AWESOME prizes!!!
The next stop on the Blog Hop is Lori - Inkingly Yours

And here is the entire Blog Hop Line Up just in case you get lost along the way!

A Color Challenge

This week's Challenge at Totally Stampalicious to use this Color Combo – Black, white and WOW! (the wow being any one color of your choice!)  You just cannot go wrong with this color challenge.  I decided to add Brushed Silver to my B&W card.

The set I used is the Stella Tires stamp that was released last month.  I had to use the sentiment "What do you mean that sound didn't come with the car" because it just fits me perfectly.  I am the girl that will turn up the radio to drown out the "sound" my car is making.  Frustrates my husband when he asks - "How long has your car been making that sound" and I reply --- "What sound?"

Mark your calendars - we're having a New Release and Blog Hop at Totally Stampalicious on Thursday - May 19th!

Stop on over to the Totally Stampalicious Blog to see more great Color Combo inspiration from the design team!  I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week!

May Calendar Page

Supplies:
Stamps: Ava Flowers
Paper:  So Saffron, Pretty in Pink CS & DP
Ink:  Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Blush blossom, Lavender Lace
Accessories:  Rose Red Ribbon, Pretty in Pink Brads, Beautiful Wings Embosslet, Microsoft Excel

I was so inspired by my friend Monique's calendar page last month that I knew I wanted to join in the fun.   This is the first calendar page I've ever done.  I thought it was only fitting to put this cute little Ava with her flowers in the hope that all those April Showers we got will bring May Flowers (and a warm up).  We still have temps in the 50 degree Celsius range here in Michigan.

Here's a close up of just the calendar page.

The calendar I used is just a Microsoft Excel calendar template.  Anyone who knows me will tell you that playing around in Excel is one of my favorite things to do.  So this calendar page is pretty much a combination of two of my favorite things.  I shaded the cells in this calendar using Stampin' Up color codes to Pretty in Pink and the numbers, text, and borders are colored Chocolate Chip.

I'm so happy to join these talented ladies for this month's calendar page inspiration.  Be sure to check out their blogs for some fabulous calendar pages:
