Get Well and a Color Challenge Card

This week we have a color challenge at Totally Stampalicious.  The colors are Pink, Yellow and Orange.  I used Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and a Pumpkin Orange for my shades.  The base of this card is Soft Suede.  The image is the super fun Nurse Margaret.  She's from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line.

Check out the Totally Stampalicious Blog to see some more great Pink, Yellow and Orange inspiration!

I'm also including this card in the following challenges:

Bugaboo Stamps:  Anything Goes

Stampin with the Dragon:  Occupations

Cute Card Thursday:  Use at Least One Punch

Sweet Stampin' Challenge:  Anything but Birthday

Jellypark Friends:  Get Punchy

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card today!

Get Well Soon - Old School

All about the stamps:

I needed to make a get well card for my monthly card swap. The only Get Well sentiment stamp I have is from the retired Stampin Up set Bold and Basic Greetings. Since I was going old school with the sentiment I thought I'd keep with the theme and used the retired Stampin Up Sketch an Event set. Interestingly these are the stamp sets that I ordered after going to my first Stampin Up demonstration. These sets inspired me to want to make cards.

Here are the materials I used:

Paper: Barely Banana, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa
Ink: Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, Positively Pink, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Cream Grosgrain ribbon, Large Tag Punch, Small Tag Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Clear Stickles
