Father's Day Patriotic 2018
Today I have 2 Father's Day cards to share with you.
Since both my father and father in law are veterans I thought it would be nice to make them cards with a red, white and blue color scheme. I used the same layout for these cards that I used for my Mother's Day cards this year.

Lottery Ticket Cake
Thanks for stopping by!! Here's a quick post on a Lottery Ticket Cake I made with my daughter.
Supplies:
1 Cardboard Cupcake Stand (Party Supply Store)
20 Lottery tickets ($2 Tickets)
1 Balloon Weight Centerpiece
White Sparkle Paper Punched Out Stars (Large)
Black Paper Punched Out Stars (Small)
Silver Metallic Twist Ties
Large Black Scallop Circle Punch
Die Cut Numbers
Tape
Small Zots - Clear Adhesive Dots
Step 1) Put Cupcake Stand Together.
Step 2 - Tape Lottery Tickets to Cake Stand. Tape each ticket to the scallop edge using two small pieces of scotch tape on the bottom of each side of the ticket.
(I've tried this with double sided tape before. It works best to use regular clear scotch tape)
5 Tickets on top tier
7 Tickets on middle tier
8 Tickets on bottom tier
Step 3 - Assemble Stars (adhesive dots work great to put the small stars on the large stars)
adhere stars to silver metallic twist ties.
Tape twist ties with stars to the inside of the scallops in between scratch off tickets.
Add some Stars to hang off the balloon weight
Adhere the Scalloped Circle with Numbers Cake Topper to the balloon weight

Father's Day Digital Hybrid Cards
I made two Father's Day cards using the Father's Day digital stamp I created a couple years ago. These were really quick to put together.
For the first card I printed out the sentiment, cut each letter out, put it on the card with foam dots above the Happy Father's Day sentiment.
For the second card I printed out the sentiment twice. I cut the DAD tiles out of one and used foam dots to put them over the letters on the other printed sentiment. I did a better job lining up the tiles on that card because I used the original tiles as my guide.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my cards today!
The sentiments I used are included below.

Elzyabells Girl with Sleigh Christmas Card
Today I have my 2016 Christmas card to share with you. I used the Elzyabells Girl with Sleigh Stamp that I bought several years ago. The sentiment was computer generated. I used my Stampin Up markers to color the image and a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the snow. The image was mounted with the SU Dimensionals. I kept the design very clean and simple because I made 40 of these.

Puppy Birthday Card
Today I have a birthday card to share with you. I made this simple little puppy card for my niece who loves puppies. I used a puppy stamp that I picked up a few years ago from the dollar bin at JoAnn Fabrics. I fussy cut the little dog and popped him up with some dimensionals. I love that this card didn't require any coloring. I'm including this card in the CASology challenge this week. The cue card is BARK. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card today! Prince Tribute Cards
It's been a long time since I've posted anything. I've still been making cards. Finding time to get them on my blog has been a challenge. I made some cards last night and want to share them. These are special to me because I made them as a tribute to one of the most amazing musicians of all time....Prince. His passing last week has brought back so many memories of the great times I spent with my friends listening to his music.
I drew inspiration on the layout for the first card from this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge. The placement of the sentiment is a little lower than on the sketch but the sketch inspired me so I'm including this card in that challenge.
CAS(E) This Sketch #169
The second card was inspired by this week's sketch at The Paper Players. Again I ended up going a bit off the sketch but I think you can see on both of these cards where I drew the inspiration.

The image that inspired both of these cards....RIP Prince and Thank You for the memories!

Peachy Keen, Jelly Bean
Today I have a Peachy Card to share with you. For some reason it made me think of the quote "Peachy Keen, Jelly Bean" from Grease. It's kind of fitting since the color is peachy and jelly beans are plentiful at this time of year.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

If You Like Pina Coladas
Today I have a fun tropical celebration card. It will likely be a birthday card but it could go along with some other celebration as well.
There is still snow on the ground here, and I don't want to jinx it, but it is starting to melt. I am starting to feel like spring is on it's way. So, it's about time to be inspired by something more cheerful.
I've been coming across a lot of cards with sponging this week. There were quite a few that really inspired me to get out some supplies I haven't used in a while. I have these chalk ink pads in some fun colors like peach, lime green, yellow and teal. They remind me of summer. I don't make many cards using sponging. In fact, I was looking through my cards on Pinterest and I could only find 2 cards with any sponging.
To make this card I ran white cardstock through the cuttlebug with the PTI Linen Embossing Folder, then I sponged with Versa Magic Chalk Inks. I covered it with some Glossy Accents and spritzed it with the SU Shimmer Smooch Spritz and let it dry. I stamped the glass on vellum with versa mark and embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I colored the image. I cut two circles out of the center with the Sizzix Circle dies and taped the image under the circle. The top circle is popped up with dimensionals. I also embossed the sentiment.

Happy 70th Birthday Dad
Today I have a special BIRTHDAY card to share with you. This month is my Dad's 70th birthday. I wanted to make a really special card. I picked a few challenges to play along with and went about creating the card. I would never have put these colors together. That's why I love playing along with card challenges. I think this color combo works nicely. When I started pulling out my paper I wasn't sure this was going to work. It did work.
The layout for this card comes from this week's Case This Sketch Sketch:
