Ribbon Throw Down

Supplies:
Stamps:  Dottie Desserts
Paper:  Night of Navy, White Swirl Embossed DP, Real Red CS, Brushed Silver, Whisper White
Ink:  Real Red, Blush Blossom, So Saffron, Brocade Blue
Accessories:  Night of Navy, Whisper White, Red, and Silver Ribbons; Small Star Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Stickles

This week's Challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to use at least 3 different ribbons on your card.  Okay so it's not actually a throw down but for me it was a chance to try something new.  I wanted to find a creative way to put three ribbons on my card so I went to the Splitcoast Stampers resources and found this Ribbon Blossom tutorial.  In the tutorial Pam uses 50 strips of ribbon.  For my ribbon I used a total of 12 strips.  This ribbon blossom reminds me of fireworks.  I knew Dottie Desserts would be a perfect image for this fun card!  She looks like she's taking her pie to the State Fair for the bake contest doesn't she?  I just love Dottie.

I'm also including this card in the following Challenges:

ABC Challenge:  Three Different Embelishments (Ribbon, Stars, Stickles)
Bugaboo Stamps:  Anything Goes
Crafts and Me:  Punch it Out - Stars & Sentiment Punched out
Crafty Hos Challenge:  Summer Let the Fun Begin
Cute Card Thursday:  Challenge 167 - Embelish it - Embelish your Image - Stickles
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge:  What'eva
I Did it Creations Challenge:  Hats  (Chef's Hat)
Paper Sundaes Challenge:  Let's Get Sentimental
Totally Paper Crafts Challenge #69:  Get Fruity  (Cherry Pie)
Truly Scrumptious:  Summer Sparkle (Stickles and Sparkly Ribbon)

I'm glad I tried something new and I hope you'll join us this week for the 3 or more ribbon challenge at Totally Stampalicious
