Celebrating Love

Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Love Letter Seals, Music Notes Stampin Up Wheel
Ink:  Basic Black
Paper:  Kraft, Old Olive, Basic Black, Going Grey, Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Eyelet Border Punch, Black Ribbon, Coluzzle, Labels One Nesties, Brads

Happy New Year's Eve!  Today's project is this Celebrating Love card.  I made it for this week's Stampin B's Challenge - #91 Make a Celebration Card.  For the color combo I used this week's Colour Q combo CQC#65.  The layout is from this week's Sweet Stop Sketch SSS88.  Today's Free 4 All Challenge (F4A45) at SCS is to celebrate those resolutions.  I can't really think of a better resolution than to Celebrate Love in 2011.

The stamp set I used is from Whimsy Stamps (Love Letter Seals).  I won this set from their blog hop earlier this month and was so excited to get a chance to use it.  The middle of the seal says

"And now these three remain:
faith, hope, and love
but the greatest of these is LOVE."

Special Thanks to Whimsy for this great stamp set!

Wishing you and yours a Very Blessed & Happy New Year!

Recycled Let it Snow Stella

This is my entry for this week's Totally Stampalicious Recycle It Challenge!  This challenge is perfect for me.  I am passionate about recycling.  We recycle as much as possible at my house.

I'm super excited to share this project with you!  For my recycled material I used clear plastic packaging (left over from a Cuttlebug folder).  I ran it through the Cuttlebug with the SU Snowflake embossing folder - I found a tutorial for this on Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas - HERE.

The stamp I used is a digital Stella from Bugaboo she can be found digitally Here. She is also available in clear rubber from Totally Stampalicious Here.  I printed the image out on SU Shimmery White paper to add a little extra sparkle to it.  I used the red brads to secure the plastic panel to the image panel.

I split up the sentiment in GIMP and continued it on the inside of the card.  The inside reads:

Supplies:
Stamps:  Stella November Calendar Month
Paper:  Real Red, Basic Black, Shimmery White
Ink:  Real Red, Basic Black, Going Grey
Accessories:  Plastic Packaging, Real Red Brads, Sheer Black Ribbon,
Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, SU Snowflake embossing folder.

Thanks for checking out my Recycled Winter Stella Project.  You can play along with this week's Totally Stampalicious Recycle Challenge Here.

(ETA) This also qualifies for this week's Stampin B's Challenge to use a ribbon with no bow or tie so I'm playing along with my friends at Stampin' B's too this week!  You can play along Here.

Thanks for checking out my card!

Just Fake It - Ruby

It's a busy day here so I'll make this post quick.  I'm so excited this is my last day of work before my Christmas vacation!  I'm going to be off work until January 3rd.

This fun card is for this week's Totally Stampalicious Challenge - It's All Faux Fun.  The challenge is to make some faux brads, stitching, flowers, metal, etc.  I made faux brads using circle punches and stickles!  The stamp set is  Attitude Ruby also from Totally Stampalicious.   I initially tried doing faux stitching but it wasn't pretty.  I need more practice at that technique.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card!

Simply Stella

Well this card is total Clean and Simpleness.  I love Stella and I love this sentiment.  This card doesn't have a lot of frills but it does have a lot of HEART.  Stella is feeling sorry for a dear friend that is going through a really rough time.

I created this for this week's Totally Stampalicious Challenge - Clean and Simple and for a dear friend of mine.  For the challenge I wanted to make a ONE layer card.  No extras - let the stamp steal the show.  The stamp set is  Misery Stella from Totally Stampalicious.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card!

A Clean and Simple Birthday from JJ

This week's challenge at Totally Stampalicious is to make a Clean and Simple card!  I thought it was a perfect challenge for this busy time of year.  I used the CAS Sketch challenge from SCS for the layout.  I also did some sponging on the image panel for today's Technique Lover's Challenge.

I think JJ looks really good against an argyle background don't you?  She's such a preppy girl today!  I used the Totally Stampalicious new clear rubber release Cupcake JJ.

Now I'm off to get some work done!  Have a GREAT Day!

Thanks for checking out my card!

Coffee Cup Gift

I made this adorable coffee cup gift  for this week's Totally Stampalicious Challenge - Wrap it Up.  I found the template for the cup on the Scor-Pal website.  You can find the template HERE.  You will need one 9" x 4.5" piece of cardstock for the cup and a coordinating 4" x 4" cardstock for the handle.  After I scored the Close to Cocoa textured CS, I stamped the snowflakes in white pigment ink.  The handle was made using the Coluzzle.  I filled the cup with a bag of Lindor Truffles and tied it with taffeta ribbon.  The sentiment on the cup is from the new Totally Stampalicious release Attitude Ruby.

Coffee Cup Supplies:
Stamps: Attitude Ruby (sentiment), Snow Swirled (snowflakes)
Paper:  Close to Cocoa Textured CS
Ink:  Basic Black, Chocolate Chip
Accessories:  Scalloped Circle Punch, 1 1/4 Circle Punch,  Coluzzle, Taffeta Ribbon

Thanks for checking out my project!

Birthday Gus

I made this card for this week's Card Patterns Sketch 93 and for the Bugaboo Blog Anything Goes Challenge.  This adorable New Truck Gus stamp set is a new release from Totally Stampalicious.  I wanted to make something clean and simple since this card will be going to my Father in law for his birthday.  I hope he likes Gus as much as I do!

Supplies used:
Stamps:  New Truck Gus (Totally Stampalicious)
Paper:  Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Basic Black, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Basic Black, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue
Accessories:  Scallop Edge Punch, Eyelet, Twine, 1 1/4 circle, 1 3/8 circle, Rhinestones

I used little rhinestones for the wheel centers.  The edges of the image panel were brushed with close to cocoa ink.  The top and bottom of the chocolate chip layer have little black tracks made with basic black marker.

Thanks for checking out my card!

Simple Wine Tag & Blog Award

This project is for this week's Totally Stampalicious Anything Goes Challenge.  I made this simple wine tag using the Christmas JJ digital stamp from Bugaboo.  I wanted to have some of these tags on hand for the holidays - now I won't have to take an undecorated bottle {GASP} to my holiday dinners.

Supplies:
Paper:  So Saffron, Old Olive, Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White
Stamps:  Christmas JJ
Ink:  Computer Colored
Accessories:  Scalloped Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scalloped Edge Punch, Corner Rounder Punch, Oval Coluzzle

I also have a Blog award to pass along!  I was so honored and excited when I found out that Susan nominated me for a blog award!  I get to pass this award along to three blogs that inspire me but first I have to tell you three things that make me - me:
1.  I am a Gluten Free Girl.  Cannot eat gluten without getting very sick.  I've been gluten free since October 2009.  Going gluten free was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

2.  I have an identical Twin sister who does not like to do anything crafty.  She only humors my love and passion for card making.

3.  I am addicted to Microsoft Excel - use it for just about everything.  I love doing cost analysis.  I already have a complete 2011 family budget created in excel and it's linked to my 2010 budget.  It is a very close second to my card making addiction.

Here are the three blogs I've chosen:

Emily Leiphart - Leiphartonart

It was hard to narrow it down to three but these three ladies are all very talented and their work is very inspiring!  Click on the links and check out these amazing blogs!
