This is my entry for this week's Totally Stampalicious Recycle It Challenge! This challenge is perfect for me. I am passionate about recycling. We recycle as much as possible at my house.
I'm super excited to share this project with you! For my recycled material I used clear plastic packaging (left over from a Cuttlebug folder). I ran it through the Cuttlebug with the SU Snowflake embossing folder - I found a tutorial for this on Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas - HERE.
The stamp I used is a digital Stella from Bugaboo she can be found digitally Here. She is also available in clear rubber from Totally Stampalicious Here. I printed the image out on SU Shimmery White paper to add a little extra sparkle to it. I used the red brads to secure the plastic panel to the image panel.
I split up the sentiment in GIMP and continued it on the inside of the card. The inside reads:
Supplies:
Stamps: Stella November Calendar Month
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Shimmery White
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black, Going Grey
Accessories: Plastic Packaging, Real Red Brads, Sheer Black Ribbon,
Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, SU Snowflake embossing folder.
Thanks for checking out my Recycled Winter Stella Project. You can play along with this week's Totally Stampalicious Recycle Challenge Here.
(ETA) This also qualifies for this week's Stampin B's Challenge to use a ribbon with no bow or tie so I'm playing along with my friends at Stampin' B's too this week! You can play along Here.
Thanks for checking out my card!

Julie this is so FUN!!
HA! I laughed! Great card!
Fantastic way to recycle!! Another great use for this throw-away packaging that always seems like such a waste! Super cute card...the embossed snowflakes look awesome!!
love how your recycled the packaging plastic....I keep forgetting that this material works well in the CB....clever
Love the embossed clear snow! what a great idea and it looks terrific!
Oohhh, I love those snowflakes! They're absolutely gorgeous! I'm going to have to try that. Thanks for the inspiration, Julie!
Julie, how awesome your recycling turned out to be. I love those snowflakes on that CB folder packaging. I would not have thought to use that. Just shows how much a person learns from another stamper. Also, thanks for the Tim Holtz link. Good job! I want to wish you a Happy New Year!
I'm back.. sorry...I meant to say I'm glad you played with the Stampin B's this week.
